What is counseling?
By providing a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment, counseling is a method of helping people live a mentally and emotionally healthy, and productive life. This involves non-judgmental support, emotional and psychological safety to explore and understand yourself better and how you've been affected by life situations.
Some of the results can be changes in thinking, behaving, and perspective. You can feel more whole and empowered in life. This process involves taking hold of your power through healing past or current wounds and painful events.
Who goes to counseling and for and how long ?
Humans. We all need a safe, non-biased place of "our own" to process our most painful wounds, fears and thoughts. It's never too soon or too late to start investing in yourself.
The length of time a person is in counseling varies from person to person.
Each session is typically 50 minutes.
What are your fees?
Fees vary depending on the services needed. At this time I provide a super bill for insurance claims.
