Why do some relationships leave you feeling confused?
Updated: Jul 18, 2018
The only way to play is not to. There is a way out. Women are the overlooked gender when it comes to identifying NPD and sociopathy. However, both genders can develop this disorder. Manipulating and triangulating peers is a powerful way of maintaining power and control. Keeping you busy and behaving in a "loving and interested" fashion is also about power and control. Eventually we are conditioned, numb- feelings of nothingness, and continue in the relationship. It doesn't have to be that way.
An abusive relationship like this leaves a painful and traumatizing mark on our emotions, how we see ourselves and see the world. It can make decisions and trusting ourselves difficult. We can even feel very timid about meeting new people, going places and feel a tremendous amount of shame. There is help for this and the proper counseling can help you heal and work through the wounds created in an abusive relationship.
